We are excited to announce the selection of speakers for the 4th edition of our Electric Film Festival. New to the festival, this year our speakers will include a guest panel of crew members from the short film “The Cycling Adventures of Lettice Bly”.
Guest Speaker
Lewis Chadwick
Lewis Chadwick is a gay working-class freelance sound engineer, arts consultant and award-winning musician who has currently worked on five features, four shorts and eight film festivals under numerous roles, with no signs of stopping anytime soon. Quoted as a “one-man army”, Lewis worked at Stronghold Studios developing award-winning feature films for three years under such titles as Film Production Executive before becoming an independent freelancer. Lewis specialises in film sound practice and theory as a desirable Sound Recordist for such talents as Stanley Kubrick cinematographer Douglas Milsome (BSC, ASC), as well as being an accomplished Foley Artist and Sound Designer. Since 2015, Lewis has managed multidisciplinary Arts & Culture community events throughout the UK and beyond in such areas as Hull, London, Bury St. Edmunds, Peterborough, Wrexham, Brynmawr and Chicago.

Lettice Bly
Nicole Sarah Fry
Nicole Sarah Fry is a 25-year-old neurodivergent British director and writer based in Bournemouth who specialises in making period projects. As well as directing, she writes, makes costumes and does the production design to bring the worlds of her shorts alive. Her previous projects include ‘Desires & Delusions’ (2022), set in 1810, ‘Lies on the Line’ (2023) the 1960s and ‘The Lace’ (2025), set in the 1880s. Her latest film, ‘The Cycling Adventures of Lettice Bly’, was filmed in the summer of 2025.
Daniel Suarez-Reis
Daniel Suarez-Reis is an independent, award-winning producer and founder of Stonecutter Productions. His work focuses on bold, distinctive storytelling that aims to fully immerse audiences and transport them into cinematic worlds beyond everyday reality.
He has produced seven short films, which have screened at several BIFA-qualifying festivals, including international festivals. His recent project Weeyagale, funded by the Roundhouse, is set to screen at both Sunderland Short Film Festival and the New York African Film Festival. His period drama The Lace has received multiple awards across the festival circuit, marking a key milestone in his producing career.
Working across both fiction and documentary, Daniel is now focused on developing visually and narratively ambitious projects that prioritise atmosphere, world-building, and audience immersion.
Julian Butterworth
Julian Butterworth is a German-British cinematographer based in Bournemouth with a passion for elevating visual storytelling and technical expertise for the entire production pipeline from shoot day to final delivery. His experience in editing, colour grading and VFX has allowed him to produce several award-winning short films.
Jasmine Fry
Jasmine Fry is a 23-year-old writer based in Bournemouth and an English and History graduate. She works alongside her sister Nicole on historical short films, most recently on ‘The Lace’ (2025) and ‘The Cycling Adventures of Lettice Bly’ (2026), both set in the Victorian era. She enjoys exploring women’s stories in a variety of time periods.
